Supporting individuals to access the local and wider community and making new friendships.
OUR CARE & SUPPORT SERVICES
CARE THAT YOU ARE COMFORTABLE WITH…
Day Opportunities – Supporting individuals to access the local and wider community and making new friendships. Attending activities including sports, social events and college.
Support at Home – Supporting individuals to be as independent as possible in their own home. Assisting people with daily living tasks.
Responsive Care and Support – providing flexible care packages around individuals changing needs. Supporting people through transition, leaving school, college and employment opportunities.
Re-enablement – promoting confidence to support people with independent living, including meal preparation and household chores.
Expertise in Living with Mental Health – With a focus on dementia and Alzheimer’s, staff are offered specific training in these areas, in order to understand individuals changing needs.
Respite, Support & Holidays – We offer this service to individuals and their families to promote health and well being.
Our Services – Provided for individuals living with family or in their own home, including 24 hour services.
Staff – Trained to meet individual needs with a focus on positive behaviour.

Local Lanarkshire Care was founded by Cathy McCabe and Shona Murray. We have worked together in social care for more than 15 years. Over the last 7 years we have focused on quality, flexibility and innovation to make a difference to the people of Lanarkshire.

- Auditing & evaluation of the induction programme ensures that the quality of delivery is kept at the top of our agenda

The management team have been excellent and so supportive in meeting the needs of our family. They stepped in at short notice to take over a contract after a break down in relations with another provider. They have been a genuine lifesaver. They are professional, caring and cannot do enough to help. Their short and long term help has been exemplary. We were worried about changing to a new provider after such a long time with the other one. We should have done it long ago. The care my brother receives and the support my mum receives is amazing. My mum is no longer afraid to pick up the phone to talk to managers. Thank you to an amazing supportive team.

HELPING TO MAKE MEANINGFUL CONNECTIONS
We joined LLC from another care provider and they have gone above and beyond to support our family. The client and their needs are genuinely central to this company and not just something they say. I cannot thank or recommend them highly enough.
We have been delighted with how communicative and engaging the care team are with my Dad. He cannot communicate verbally anymore and the way she communicated through touch and eye contact was wonderful see, even playing him his favourite music. My Dad is much happier and more settled now.
